There are magic acts, then there are demonstrations of miracles, mind reading, and thoroughly questionable spycraft by self-proclaimed Former Senior Operations Support Officer, Tom Flan.
The result is a fast-moving, roughly one-hour “demonstration” combining deceptions, mentalism, audience participation and character-driven comedy. (Though Tom insists the comedy is inadvertent and always surprising–to him.) Audiences walk away thoroughly amazed and entertained even if they suspect Tom’s level of experience in the world of espionage was more 101 than 007.
Rather than circulating from guest to guest–a clear security risk, Tom performs for entire groups, creating a unique bonding experience ideal for corporate and sales events, conferences, private parties, awards dinners and theater engagements. Bachelorette galas, fundraising soirées and nursing homes are also a Tom Flan specialty.

About Tom Flan
Tom’s work at two different, three letter, clandestine organizations gave this self-described intelligence officer an inside look at the darkest corners of procurement. He also believes every AmeriCAN deserves to know The Truth!
What is “The Truth?” It’s hard to say. But Tom travels the country presenting his version of it; demonstrating his ultra secret tradecraft and hard won espionage tactics that audiences find both amazing and often hysterical.

Before becoming professionally questionable in the intelligence community, Tom Flan, the nom de plume of Ron Cicero, was a successful director and producer. Best known for his Sundance premiere, Happy Happy Joy Joy – The Ren & Stimpy Story, Tom’s alter ego produced and directed film, television and advertising content for studios and Fortune 500 brands. His work was awarded with Clios, Lions, D&AD Awards and AICP NEXT mentions, among others. Having served a wide variety of corporate clients in 25 years, he is no stranger to the particular needs of business organizations in an era when any captured evidence can be posted for the world to see.

How Much Does a Covert Demo Cost?
Many factors determine pricing: How many of your associates have Type 1 clearances? Will phones be collected during the show? How far does Tom have to travel to your venue?
Because Tom is not a big reader, schedule a short rendezvous to discuss. After you exchange intel, he his team will send you a proposal so you are clear on the mission ahead.
How Long is the Demo? Can Tom be Flexible?
Tom is well known in “the industry” for his flexibility. His standard briefings run between 30 minutes and an hour. Shorter is possible. Any longer may require back-up.
What Space & Equipment Does Tom Need?
Tom is of course very, very technically savvy and is able to work with your event staff to insure a smooth demo. He handles his own kit: microphone, music playback, chocolate essential oils. A sound system with a standard XLR input is highly suggested for groups over 25. Tom can also supply an audio system if needed.
An area that is roughly 10′ deep x 12′ wide is required. A raised platform or stage is suggested for audiences over 25 guests.
Are Tom’s Demos kid friendly?
FFS, if you are hiring Tom for your kids, you need to reevaluate your fitness as a parent or guardian. That said…Language is family friendly. Some themes may be less so but are always social media appropriate.
Does Tom Perform Walk-Around Magic Pre-Show?
Due to security concerns, Tom does not perform walk-around magic at this time.
